whichnew tires
Hi,
What are the best tires for year round use for a 2000 SE auto in a four season location.
My car hit a big hole. I need 2 new tires, 2 rims and a control arm. Since I need to replace two tires I figure why not do 4. So what do you guys think?
Also do you think my frame could be tweaked or would the bent control arm take the full blow?
Best regards,
Fast Walker

First of all, take the car to a GOOD frame and alignment shop. They can determine if the UNIBODY alignment is still in spec or not and then suggest the correct actions. As for the tires. What is "best?". All seasons are a compromise in all catagories(snow, wet, dry, noise, treadwear etc...........)
Advice:
1)Take in consideration where you live.
2)Since you want to use these tires all year round, what is important to you and not as important to you?
3)Take this list and go to tirerack.com and do some RESEARCH on some tires in your price/size range.
4)Determine which tire fits your requirements best.
If you want opinions of members here of all season tires, at least mention what you want out of the tire and how much you want to spend per tire. If you live in the north east, taking someone's opinion that lives in southern california
doesn't do you much good does it?
