I did a few runs today in my Max. The temperature here in Chicago is 71 degrees with 68% humidity. I did two runs because the roads are still kinda damp in some spots. The first run i ran a 15.22. I had a lot of wheel spin and hit the rev limiter in first. The second time I ran a 15.02. This time i didnt spin but i had a little wheel hop. This thing really helps you perfect your launches. I am gonna do about 5 more runs later on when the roads get dry. I think i should be able to get down to 14.8 or so with a good launch. I am gonna go to the track tonight for the first time(weather permitting) to see how i run. I was thinking about setting the G-tech up at the line and running it against the tracks timing to see how accurate it is.

 

what is a g tech?

 

a device that can approximate 0-60 and quarter mile times, hp, etc... its a fancy accelerometer.

 

how pricey are these things?

 

i tink they sell for 150?

 

$129 to $139....... it was free a while back in a tire selling promotion (forgot which brand).
