... got married Saturday, and of course my car mod habit was brought up during conversation. It looks like it will be quite a while before I can "waste" (as she mildy puts it) any more money on the Max.

(I should've snuck in that S/C last week, huh?)

Typical conversation

Here's what I get if I talk to my girlfriend (future wife?) about mods.

Me: "Honey, the Front Strut Tower bar attaches right here under the hood, you see these bolts? Well it makes the car's chassis much stronger! So when you change lanes on the freeway, it will feel smoother, and when you make sharp turns, it will be tighter!"

Her: "Mikey, you're so smart! I love you!"

---------

Here's what happens if I talk to my dad about mods.

Me: "Dad... I was thinking "

< HE sees a copy of Super Street in my hand and interrupts >

Dad: "Just leave the poor car ALONE! You are NOT doing anything to that car! It is PERFECT the way it is."

Any of you guys get this?

Congrats on getting Married, it's a big step in life, isn't it?

Yeah CONGRATS on taking that BIG step, Dude.... I guess I'm not the only one. I got married on May 26th of this year.

My wifee doesn't seem to mind me spending money on the Maxi.... just so long as it doesn't interfere with her shopping money.

She gets abit squirrely whenever I talk about jumping on the waiting list for an E46 M3, though.
