Need Tire recommandation

Hello fellow members!
I have stock 97 16x6.5 inch rims on my 95SE and need replacements immediately. I have seen previous posts on how great the Dunlop SP5000's(225/50/16) are on the stock 16's.
I have researched and seen why a lot of our members install SP5K's. The price on these tires are pretty cheap compared to other big-name manufactureres.
I was wondering if you folks could give me an opinion on the experience you have had w/ your aftermarket tires. I am thinking of getting a tad wider tires such as 225/50/16 inch tires, H rated or higher although I figured that I will have a tad more roll. Also, I need all-season tires since I live in NYC where we have all four seasons.
Thanks in advance for any recommadation or suggestions!

I've got Pirelli Sport Veloce VR's 225/55/16 ($105 ea @ tirerack) and are great here in DC seasons. Granted we don't get a lot of snow, but they've handled well in rain, light snow, and slush. (I've yet to drive them in more than 3 inches of snow).

i'm surviving seattle rain...
... with 4 Yokahama AVS Intermediate's. "Intermediate" apparently means halfway between all-out performance and super-bad-weather-grip, although they're still considered an "ultra-high-performance" tire. they've also been treating me well in the summer - MUCH better than the stock bridgestone potenza's did - and they were under $500, balanced and installed.
i have driven them through MT snow twice, and both times been very impressed (considering how wide they are - 215/45/17). i wouldn't try climbing any mountains, but they kept my max on the road in 8-10" of montana powder (with good driving, of course!)
look for a good nationwide warranty, and watch out for those BBQ's! ;-)
