service engine light

anybody know how to reset it? It came on after intstalling some chrome rings in the gauge cluster. Yes, I did remove the whole unit. I also double checked the wiring/modular plugs. The only thing that I maybe should have done was to disconnect the neg lead from the battery before I did this. thanks in advance for any help.

I installed the rings and had no difficulties. I never disconnected my battery. You could try leaving the battery disconnected for several hours and see if that makes it go away.

just did the ol' disconnect the battery thing :)

All, never mind. The ol' fix all of disconnecting the battery did the trick.
