I am planning on droping in a SC after the winter. What else do I need to spend money on at the same time. Or maybe what else is a good idea to spend money on?

THANKS

I'm guessing that the 3" y-pipe would be a good idea along with a custom 3" B pipe. Is now a good time for DeaZaL to switch to redline MT90? Seems like it'd be good insurance for the transmission.

I asked the same question & got a lot of flak 4 not using the search ... so I'm going 2 answer what I know ...

3" y & b pipes ... not necessary apparently ... there is /was a thread in the 4th gen forum

you'll need an aftermarket clutch ... I think it's ACT ...

& that's about it! if u haven't changed your tranny fluid 2 mt90 ... it made a noticeable diff 4 me ... i did it @ my first oil change ...

How much will a clutch run me?

clutch .. i have no idea .. maybe $500?

well .. if u want 10 psi .. u will need a smaller pulley than what is provided ... i think you'll need the 3.25" pulley that kev is currently running ... he's going down to 3.12" I think ... WoW!!!

Well, with 10 psi you might start running into problems with your fuel system. You might run to lean because of all the air from that high of psi. New injecters, upgraded/moddified FMU, even fuel pump to be safe. Along with a new high flow oil pump and cooler to help keep the engine nice a cool. A transmission cooler also wouldn't hurt, and like the others stated, MT90 fluid. New Cattman clutch, and Stillen flywheel. That would deffinately make it alot less trouble free after install. But your biggest drawback will be the ail/fuel ratios. You will constantly battle that obsticle, until a ECU upgrade can be found. And now you will go alot faster, how bout new brakes to balance that?

Don't be recommending the 10 psi to everyone. It's not too safe to use. Run the stock 3.60" pulley until you feel the need for boost, then swap it out.

Matticus got straight to the point in his post (of what you need).

hmmm

So what will I have to do to adjust the air fuel ratio? Hmm.. I really don't want to deal with any problems... Will I run into that If i leave it pushing in 6psi? Bahh not enough boost at 6..

"New injecters, upgraded/moddified FMU, even fuel pump to be safe" Along with a new high flow oil pump and cooler to help keep the engine nice a cool."

How much is that going to run me? Is that all stuff I could do on my own?? I'm very technical, though I reallly don't want to fu** anything up...

Is the new flyweel going to make a big diff with the sc?
