Hi,
I just purchased a black 2001 Maxima SE (manual). I can't wait to get throught the break-in period. I am considering purchasing the service manual for this car. Nissan wants $210 for the CD and $275 for the hardcopy. Does anyone know if there is a discount source for this material? For those who have these manuals are they any good? I have the factory service manual for my 1991 Mustang and it is fair at best.

Thanks,

Mike

I've only seen the Electric Section, but I think it is DEFINITELY worth it for a do-it-your-selfer. Also, I would buy the ESM, since 1 of 16 sections was 366 pages long. If you get the FSM and not the ESM, you'd better be prepared for Encyclopedia size storage of these things.
