i recntly had my guage cluster replaced seeing as how my guages went out. i guess that i own an early productin run 2001 & mid year they changed the design of the cluster to allow for the gear indicaotr as found in the automatics. mine originally did not have this oblonged shape running down the middle of the cluster but now its just a big empty space. do you guys have this empty space as well??

i'm sure you guys agree with me that it looks terrible. i can see nissan's standpoint, fewer parts that are different mean less cost and bigger bottom line, but... it looks really tacky having that blank space there. oh well, thanks for confirming my suspicions.
