How much of an HP increase can i expect?
I just purchased Y-Pipe, intake and underdrive pulley all from stillen. All of this for my 2K max but i want to know how much of a HP difference i should gain and will it be a noticeable difference?
All threads are appreciated

intake 6
pulley 8
29-39
You will definately notice it! Im gettin a pipe soon hopefully
you should definitely feel the difference with all those mods. The biggest gains will be seen from the y-pipe and intake. The UDP may add a bit to your low-end and your engine's revs will climb faster down low. From the combo, you can probably expect gains between 15-20 hp at the wheels depending whether you have an auto tranny or manual. In any case, enjoy
i was told that the y pipe doesnt make the car a lot louder, it just gives it a growl
this intake y pipe and muffler set up is so popular, most peopple with mods have these mods
i am getting them i a couple weeks too

Will a car equipped with the y-pipe be able to pass emissions testing? The testing is mandatory in Ohio for cars over 2 years old. [/QUOTE
Y-pipe by itself will give you not much different sound (that I've ever noticed.) until you run WOT, then your seat DYNO will tell you the difference and you will know you have a pipe, it's a sweet growl but not overly ricer sound, intakes with pipe will be sweet, you have a great rumble. (very intimating). esp. off the line. MOD,S well worth investing in. ( as long as all senors are intacked and you are not recieving any "check engine" lights you should not have any problems passing emissions.)
Were is yo it's ok?

To my knowledge, there are no mandatory inspections in Ohio. The only inspections I have heard of are rare, random inspections (if you have an obviously unsafe car and get pulled over for something else, the officer can require you to get it inspected, etc.). I have never owned a car less than 2 years old until i bought my Max, and I have never had any car inspected in 14 years.

I'm in Cincinnati and we must have an Ohio E-check performed each year. They put your car on a dyno, attach a big hose to the exhaust pipe, and run the car about 50 mph. I just had this performed on my 1995 Ford Mustang. New cars under 2 years do not have to have this performed. Maybe E-check is not a statewide thing, but I thought it was.

FYI, here is the E-check web site.

a y-pipe will not make the car loud all that much. The exhaust tone gets a little deeper, but it sounds sweet. If you get a high-flow cat, it actually gets rid of some of the droning and makes the exhaust tone at high rpms nicer. The only way things will get loud is if you replace the stock muffler....

They're pretty strict about emissions in CA... I probably won't get a Y-pipe until it's proven that I'd be in the clear

I'm in Cali and passed emissions without any problems with both a y-pipe and a supercharger. Now it's time for you to get a y-pipe.

Just wondering if you have the Fed spec y-pipe or the Cali-spec. I have heard that removing the front precat makes the most difference in power but before I do it on my 2001 AE Auto i want to make sure i can pass cal emmissions as that is where I live and all.

She has a Fed spec pipe because 4th gens have both precats removed. You should have no problems passing the tail pipe test... and I highly doubt you'll fail the visuals. Just make sure the car is nice and warmed up before getting tested.

Turbo95Max and I can probably do the install for you, but you'll have to talk to him about it first.

What brands of Y-pipe, pulley, and intake are available on the market for 5th gen? How much each mod costs, and approx. how much the install.
