His first name is Steve and last name begins with a C... but play along with my theory.

They're Installed!!!

Well the Y-Pipe and Intake are installed!!!! I definately notice a difference at higher RPMs. The new <<<Growl>>> of my engine is very intimidating, I like it!!! Haven't had a chance to really get on it yet but I will sometime today. I want to thank Kev for his advice and input on the mods. Its kinda ironic how I just passed my first 1000 miles before my mods got put on. I guess my engine is now broken in !!!! Well I would like to hear some other advice as to what my next mods should be. Sky's the limit!

Re: They're Installed!!!

Curious... how long does it take to install a Y-Pipe?
You did it yourself.

Depends if you have fitment problems or/and a hard time getting the nuts off. Estimate... 30+ minutes (varies)

Higher RPMs is where everyone says it kicks in but is that on all gears? Or is it just like 3-5 maybe?

So far Ive noticed the benefits of both around 3rd and 4th. keep in mind that I have an automatic. But at higher RPMs my car definately moves.

I got the Y-Pipe from Stillen for $370 and change. It comes with all the hardware and Nissan OEM Gaskets. I live in FL so I don't have to worry too much about road salt and such during winters which would cause rust on the pipe. If you're looking for something that will stand up to harsh conditions go for the Cattman which is all SS. It'll be a little more plus you have to purchase the gasket and such.
