Ehgine Pull Back

I have a 2001 Maxima GXE.

I have been experiencing an engine pull back when I take my foot off the accelerator. The engine has a rapid deceleration to the point where I have to keep accelerating to maintain a constant speed.

Has anyone else experienced this.

I have taken the car to two different dealers abd they say this is normal, but this is the third Maxima I have had and the first with this problem.

Someone told me to take off the TCS while driving and the rapid deceleration will not happen.

Any comments or suggestions.

I have a 2K1 maxima too, instead of quick deceleration, Ive noticed a consistent "tug" when the car shifts from gear to gear. Its not smooth and flawless, do you or anyone else have the same feeling?

It feels like my old civic that had a bad transmission. If i remember correctly, it used to shift a lot smoother.
