Rev limiter problem

Rev limiter problem
My car has been acting weird as of late. In first gear at WOT the rev limiter comes in at about 6200 rpms. I think it is only in first gear. I will try the other gears out lately. What is wrong with my car, isnt the rev limiter somewhere around 6600 rpms???

Mine sounds the same as UMD...hits redline (just) and very quickly cuts in...as you would expect it should. Granted I often get close pretty quickly with spirited takeoffs and short but fun onramp runs...but it seems it would hit the same in the other gears since I can take it to almost redline without incident.
