Supercharger TiMe!! Anyone have better price that $3499?-also-what else do I need

probably looking to run the stock pulley or one size smaller. What else do I need? Will the blow off valve make it loud? WHat does the blow off valve do in detail that is.. Do I really need a new clutch? Gauges? what to get? Just give me my options on everthing. Including other things I should do at that time that would coincide with the sc.

THANKS !

I guess you're calling 4 people out and I'm one of them.

You don't need anything special to run a pulley one sized smaller.

The BOV doesn't do anything except let out charged are when the throttle place closes. When you boost, lots and lots of air to into your engine, but when you let off on the gas the air has to go somewhere right? Going back to the SC can possible destroy it, so the BOV will let out that air. The SC will come with a recirculation valve. It does the same thing as the BOV, but you won't hear it go Psssssssshhhhhhhhhhh..........

For gauges, I recommend boost and exhaust gas temperature gauges (you can use this to tell if you're running rich or lean).

As for price....STILLEN controls pricing policies on that so don't get your hopes up on getting it below $3300.
Hogan, how's your S/C Kit coming along? Is it almost ready?

The bracket needs to be redesigned so IMPUL Tuning has looked into re-designing the kit for me. Spring 02 is safe to say when the kit will be released. No use to sell a blower for winter. Unless it doubles as a snow blower...

The link leads to the parts available for the 4th Gen Maxima.
To the wise guy who emailed me that IMPUL Tuning doesn't exist, take the link and shove it.
Hogan,

Could you ask about the HI-Power Control Unit/ECU?
I see a VQ30DE listed, but I can't read Japanese.

Currently IMPUL says it gained 10hp, redline @ 7000rpm and they've sent me dyno sheets, but I haven't had the time to test it on USDM 4th gen, that's why I didn't say a thing about it. I have no proof in my hands that I've conducted of their claims.
By Spring 02 everything will be evaluated, and tested, and revealed on Maxximum Tuning's new website.
Thanks! I'll keep an eye out.

ahhh

See, that was the thing. I thought I could get a better price on the sc right before winter.. Hmmmm. Yo.Its.Ok--Sounds like you are working real hard on an aplication. Are you selling this kit? If so I would be interested. And I guess I could wait for after winter. Maybe just get a 2.5" Y-pipe for now and intake. And trade in both when your sc comes out(2.5" for 3" of course).

Re: Re: ahhh

Cooool, is this gonna be for the 5th Gens? Any chance on getting a 4th gen designed?

DeaZaL, yeah we have a S/C kit in the works, somewhat sucessful, just need to get it produced, but will spend the winter testing it, and finding out what the ultimate limit is. By Spring 2002 production will begin, dyno #s will be revealed, pictures of the kit revealed, and possibly the ECU to go with it.

Eugene, wassup. Email me.

Why no UDP w/ S/C = slower turning pulley = less boost at same rpm compared to stock.

-Peace

Excellent, I may not bother with the Stillen kit then and just wait for yours. If you need a guiney pig, let me know.

I will bring them out to the PA Meet on weekend of the 14th on my car or in my car's trunk.
Haha "other" mods. Do you know a general idea of where that meet will be? Hopefully not 5 hours from Lancaster. I should have my HID's on by that meet too. I can't wait.
