Anyone ever try these mods on a maxima? They would have to be custom installs but they may be worth the money...especially for people with SChargers.

I haven't done much research on #2 and #3, so

This looks interesting though (ERL):
Do not operate water pump continuously for more than one minute. Pump is designed to operate on a maximum cyclic mode of 1 minute on/1 minute off

Hi Kev, since your logged in, I have a question, perhaps have you notice that the 2K1 max have 1 metal guide on each front brake pad ( total of 4 ), the metal guide hooked up to some sort of spring retainer that bring back the pads after the pressure is release. Saturday when I did my front brakes I found out that one pair of the Axis metal pads that were shipped to me where missing that metal guide I founded strange, but anyway I couldn't go back in my works cuz one side was already done, and I notice just after the first one were done, but I'm concern that after a while when dirts start to accumulate on the caliper, the pads wont slide back by them selve, I know the little spring that bring back the pads are kind of bogus but seems to works well only when the calipers are clean. When I disasamble the caliper I had to apply a good force to remove the pads, after cleaning the caliper then the pads were sliding correctly back and forth. I think maybe Gr Racing just mixed 2k1 pads with 2K, like one set of each. I remember my 98 max se didn't had those metal guide on the pads and the brakes were just fine.

What do you think of that ? Does 2K max pads have metal guide ? I hope everything sounds clear to you if not let me know and I will explain more.

Thanks fo any inputs.

Cheers

I suggest you get a pad with the clip to avoid possible premature wear (since you can't put the spring in).

Hey yo_its_ok, it is always interesting to have the opinion of people who knows what there talking about, so thanks for your input. I found out the Axis pads to be more powerfull and smoother at the same time, so far I am very happy with it, maybe I'm just to agressive on brakes and that why I didn't like the oem Nissan brakes.

Have a good one.

The coefficient rating on the Axxis Metal Master pads is not significantly higher than the stock units so they will not chew up the rotors like full metallic pads that have twice the coefficient rating.

Then again, everyone drives differently.

I think it will be just one more reason to switch to cross drilled rotor after winter.

Peace to all ( god knows we need that in those difficult time )
