When I installed my gauge rings, I removed the entire gauge cluster. The gauge faces are a paper material. So, granted the Maxima and Infiniti gauges are the same size, you could theoretically take the gauge material stuff, the face, and apply it to your Infiniti. I am not sure how the lighting will work on the Infiniti. But, as long as the size is the same, and you can purchase just the face, it should work. I do not know how the gauge face is attached to the unit. I just know I felt the material and it felt "papery" and was somewhat loose, meaning it was an "insert".

I thought Infinitis had electroflourecent (sp?) gauges. I don't really understand the way they work but I don't get how you could just switch the face plate...

I30 have those special dash...(where you can't see the gauge unless you start the car) so I don't think it will work... dunno...

Exactly. I don't think it's anything like swapping plastic faceplates..

Here is the GOOD news and the BAD NEWS.

GOOD NEWS..............
The gauges are exactly the same and would fit perfectly.

BAD NEWS..............
In order to get that Gauge sheet off, you need to pull off the NEEDLE on all four gauges, and from past experience, YOU DONT want to do that, cause (A), it is a pain in the A$$ to get off, (B), they will never go back on in the EXACT location you took them off, and because of that, you joint and reading will ALWAYS be off.
