I took a trip this weekend. I drove for 11 hours in my new Max with out any complaints! The drive was smooth, fun and comfortable.
Believe it or not a Saturn tried to take me on.
What a joke... I played with him a bit but when all was said and done I showed him not to buy American. When I nailed the gas pedal the Max showed it's true colors! I felt the toque, heard the engine and saw the headlights of a once proud Saturn owner. I realize that this is not much of a challenge, but all the same a kill is s kill!
When I returned home after my long drive of joy, I felt the hood of my car and it was not hot. Only the center of the hood was warm. That surprised me! Now I know why I returned to the Maxima family!!
How was your first 1000 miles?

plano to dallas
for texas people you should know
ya mean the first thousand miles of the car??? dreadful.. i was still in the break in process. but first ride going a consistant 1000miles.. never done. only road trip i made were the frequent drives down south.. it was scary. car was floaty, but the two twelves in the trunk threw me off balance.. second road trip was worse. overdrive failed on me. third drive was horrid. i had my car all piled up cuz i was moving. third drive was the worse of them all, i moved back up north and got a speeding ticket. on top of that i had my v1 with me, the Ka band was going crazy and all i did was hit the freagin' mute button.
