Which service centers are bad
Which service centers are bad
Can the guys in NYC share their good bad service center experience (eg. Keoppel Nissan/Queens/Northern Blvd/good)? Just an example, don't know if those guys are good or not. I'm looking to change mine. Already had 2 instances where I felt like I wanted to go postal.
Thanks
Thanks
Route 22 Nissan's Service Dept in Hillside, NJ is the worst. Service Manager Phillip Masteleone is a *****. He blames everything on wear and tear.
Been there 3 times for my brake judder and they keep resurfacing them. Last time it was performed was August 27, 2 days later same thing. He then tells me to come in on a Wednesday when a Nissan Field Rep was there. Well this Wednesday I meet this so called field rep and the guy even didn't say a thing. Phillip blamed it on my aggressive driving purely on assumption. I drive this car the same exact way as I drove my 2 prior USED cars. This is the only time that I'm dealing with this type of problem. He said you can't drive it so hard. I said "Are you telling me that the Maxima, Nissan's flagship, the car that you advertise chasing the sunset, outrunning the Grim Reaper, doing powerslides in the desert, best V6 in the world, has to be driven like a LOW END GEO?!?!" Lolz, the Field rep and another Service Advisor laughed so hard. Phil had nothing to say to that
In the end I still lose becuz all they're willing to do is cut them for the 3rd time for free (2nd time I paid $150.00). What bothers me most is the fact that they haven't even checked the damn rotors for any possibility that they might be defective. He keeps reiterating that it's the way I drive. Fockin Nissan Service

Man, I feel your pain. I seem to remember you posting a while back about the $150 charge and the guy assumming that you drive too hard and you said that you were not going to take this lightly if it needed service again. If this is more that the third time that you've complained (which it think it is) I think you have a lemon law claim.
I love this "Are you telling me that the Maxima, Nissan's flagship, the car that you advertise chasing the sunset, outrunning the Grim Reaper, doing powerslides in the desert, best V6 in the world, has to be driven like a LOW END GEO?!?!"
It always seems like you have to make up a story and test it with scenarios before you go to get stuff you're entitled to done. I say play harball all the way!!!

chilltownryderz,
they should have replaced your rotors the first time. There is a TSB on this many of us on the board hve gotten our rotors replaced. Are they taking your rotors off to resurface them? If they are you better raise hell because they are supposed to use a machine that cuts them on the car. Most dealerships don't have this so they end up replacing the rotors. My crappy a ss dealership had to replace mine. what they are doing is total BS.
