2000 max feels sluggish
my max is 2 years old now 30,000 miles i get all my maintence on time from dealership. I just got my 30,000 mile service, but my car feels sluggish some times. Is there something i can do , or are the auto. tranny maximas just that slow taking off. sometimes i feel it cant do 0-60 in 15 sec.
Re: 2000 max feels sluggish
You are using gas right
not water or something like that...
Take it by the dealer and have them look at it.... Check out the air filter also and make sure there's nothing huge and obvious blocking the intake.. (birds, paper, golf *****, etc.)

Re: 2000 max feels sluggish
Yeah, add a little Uncle Ben's the next time you fill up and it will PURR like a kitten for sure!!!
And, you might want to get an intake, y-pipe, exhaust and VB Recal. That would help too. And, it's A LOT cheaper than a 3.5L engine swap!
Seriously, I'd try the obvious first. Then, look for mods.

Reggie,
Sometimes, when you take your car to the dealer, they will set something inside the ECU to detune your car. The reason they do this are because they wanted your car to run more efficently with better mileage and less emission, also, they wanted your car to run more reliably.
You could consult your Nissan dealer to reset your ECU so maybe you can restore some power???
