tell me about it.. when I jammed my car in the curb that damn rim was eaten up. 2 things U can do. both gonna cost some money. Take all the air out of the tire. push the tire away from the rim outer wall. sand the rim to where its smooth. sand the rest of the rim so its rough.. throw some primer on it and repaint the whole rim with matching color. Option 2 would be to get on http://www.victoriatire.com and get a new rim for about $230.. good luck.

I feel your pain.

I don't think anyone can have a car and drive it frequently without getting rims scratched, rock chips on the nose and hood, and door dings. The only cars I've seen that don't have these problems are garage queens.

Do the right thing...

Don't sand your rim... when you take material off a rim.. you throw it off balance... and your car will shake like hell if it's not balanced.... I had a 3pc rim bent before...and a "CEC" rim bent before... I took it to "Wheels America... in Stanton, Orange County,CA... I think they have offices in Dallas, NY,and SF... but give them a call.. they Fixed my Rim... they machine them remove or add material to it..and they strip the paint and refinish it with the factory paint... They do a good job.. the price wil be from $90-$150.... Good Luck!

You can have all your wheels polished at a shine shop and from then on all you have to do is buff them out (Unless its really bad.)

damnit just screw it. im in the NY area and thanks for the info but im not paying 230 for a rim. anyone know a good shop in ny where they will do the same process as explained in an earlier post? it's too smaal to notice anyway. i tried looking for the 2 little scratches but had a hard time finding them. the funny part is the way in which i got the scrathes! i park very well and never with any car, got scratches from parking. I was trying to keep up with a new integra (dont kno which model, didnt have anythig on back, probably ls?) anyway i tried keeping with it in some tight *** turns. damnit! well now im all the more wiser.
