check eninge light came on while driving?!

it just came on as i was cruising at about 30mph...the engine went into some type of sputtering mode and i made it home real slow. Shut the engine down, waited about 2 minutes and fired it up, drove it around, no more sputtering. diconnected the battery for about an hour, and everything is back to normal....was wondering if anyone had this happened to them while driving and what could be the possible cause and solution....pc.

ECU needs to be reprogrammed. Happened to me b4 and to many people on this forum. Contact your dealer.

since you're kind enough to share your comment, i have clear side markers for the rear w/red bulbs, if you want them, you just pay the shipping and it's yours, PM me. pc.

sounds like you went into safe mode.... some people have had that happen to them and it turns out their TPS was bad or needed adjustment.....
