2002 Max SE

Proud owner of a 2k2 Max - all options, but no Trac Cont. I paid invoice(approx 27300). They gave me $21,650 for my 2K1 MAx Loaded with 13500 miles. Not too bad of a deal all around. The 2k2 Max is fantastic!! The engine pulls from the second you hit the gas and the auto trans is smooth, quick and quiet. The other new changes are nice, but not overwhelming. The heated steering wheel, 6 disc in dash Bose, xenon headlights, and new front seats are nothing special, but added together reaffirm the Max as the best car under 30 grand!!!

Happy to be happy about my Max again. The 2k1 was not that great.

Congrats on your 2K2 Max!

How long had you owned the 2K1 and what was your purchase price originally for the 2K1?

Hey J,

I owned the 2k1 for about 11 months. I don't remember the exact price but I think it was $500 under invoice on the 2k1.

Congrats!! I've had my '02 SE for a few days now and I'm loving it more and more everyday. I used the heated steering wheel & seats this morning because it was pretty cold out, and I left the windows halfway for the full effect, haha. Enjoy, and good luck!

hehe... I couldn't feel my feet or my fingers while walking away from the stadium to the car(I left the Bills game 10 mins. before it ended, it was just miserable). Thoughts of heated steering wheel and seat kept me going...

Wow, that's not a bad trade in price. I might do that for a 2k2 if I can get something close. What did you have on your car?

Re: 2002 Max SE

Would love to have all those goodies that i dont have, but dont know if its worth trading my 00' for something that looks almost exactly the same. Now, the new altima, might be more like it. However, that will be a step down.

John.

Well, if you get the 240 hp, at least you are getting an engine upgrade. Interior is another story. =)

As for looking almost the same, it's true, but remember, you do get a lot of "goodies." Even though outer appearance is similar, the inner beauty is what counts (for me).
