Trade in Value

What do you all think you could get for a 2k SE in good shape with the c&c package? Blue Book says $21K...

Then what else would you be able to get? My dream cars are the Audi TT or BMW 3 series...but those are 30k+...

varies

between a shockingly low 13K and up to a more reasonable 18K.

I love the TT, but do your homework. Those things seem to have a recall every month. I think a new recall just surfaced. Yeah, I think recalls are ok AS LONG as you have a good dealer in your area.

Re: varies

I was offered a whopping 15,900 for a car that listed for 28,900 a little over 2yrs ago! Nissan, get it together! And mine is fully loaded!

I'm pretty sure KBB trade in is less than 21K.... last year the KBB value of my 2000 SE was 20,400, the car had every aviable option. KBB is generally high as a guide, black book is much lower.

A dealer will give you about $1,000 below wholesale, that way they could sell it for more on there lot.

I'ld say sell it yourself. I recently was offered
$3,000 trade on a mint condition 89 SE with leather and all options.
I sold it for $6,500 in 2 weeks. Kelly is high, so what I did was print out the price per kelly and attach it with my for sale ad. on the car. This way the buyer is already thinking of the Kelly price.
If the car is really clean you should get 95% of what kelly says.

I am interested in what you are offered, I was looking to buy a 2k SE, high miles no S+C package. He wouldn't go below 16k and I thought that was a little high.
