FINALLY!! good service at nissan dealer..
FINALLY!! good service at nissan dealer..
i've tried a buena park, anaheim, and redlands nissan service depts and they were all horrible.
today i got the service engine light again and i happened to be next to a nissan dealership so i figured i might as well try that one too.
it was superior nissan in puente hills. they're under new management and it's made a big difference. ask for michael gay (i know), he was really polite and helpful. no run around like the other guys. they ended up reprogramming my ecu with some 'new catalytic converter parameters' that should take care of my service light.
he seems knowledgeable, but better than that, the dealership itself seems cool with basic mods (to an extent i'm sure) the parts department had cone filters, strut bars, body kits... for sale. so perhaps not such a headache for minor service issues. i'm just happy they weren't complete a$$holes.
i was in and out in an hour with the fix.

Cool! How much did they sell those minor mods for? Strut and filter? =) I didn't like my dealership very much (Gardena), though they aren't the worst in the world.

i didn't ask, but probably expensive. the point is that they understand a k&n doesn't void the warranty.
