Smart Entrance Control Unit-programmable?
I was told by a mechanic who works on alot of Nissans that many Nissan dealerships can plug into the dataport of the SECU and make adjustments. I'm not sure if it's a handheld or laptop with special software, but many of the timing functions can be adjusted. This would be helpful for those wanting to lengthen the delay in the "auto" position so any HID flicker when passing through "auto" to "low beam" could be eliminated. Any factory trained Nissan technicians care to comment?
