2002 Auto Tran?

Is the transmission in the 2002 the same as in the 2000-2001 models.

Thanks,
Joe

I think you have to take the unit off and ship it to them then you get the unit with the VB mod and you put it back in your car

levelten does a throttle position vb mod meaning that it bangs into gear har when your WOT but when ur not WOT it doesnt shift hard so it can still be a daily driver...... im not sure if mobiletek does this..... the only reason i know is beacause i ordered my torque converter from levelten today! YEAAH!! my new stall speed will be 3200rpms not 2100-2200rpms stock and they r building it for my car not shipping me one in the warehouse as protorque does! another good thing is that i dont have to send back my stock TC! so if u compare keeping the old TC and gettin the new one as well levelten is 50 bucks more than portorque bc protorque charges and extra 150 to keep ur old TC and their base price is 400 bucks plus the extra 150 so 550! i got my level ten for 618 shipped and they r building it which takes 3 days protorque just ships you one from a warehouse! compare the two and make a decision when it comes torque converters esp when they r building mine for NOS! JDERRY3 this might be a good mod for you.....call them up and see how much it would run for a TC if they make one for ur tranny yet not sure if they r the same as TIMW said! www.levelten.com!

hey will....the 3200 rpm figure they gave you is a flash stall...

personally i have yet to see my needle jump to 3200 rpm's from a stop(with the flash stall) and that is the exact stall i have(3200) or so they say

....its more like 2700-2800

i specifically asked for a 3200 stall speed so to my understanding that is what they are going to make it..... i will find out when it gets put in an i do a stall speed test if its not 3200 than oh well! it will still be 10x's better than my stock TC! thanks for bringing it to my attention though!

what kind of TC do u have and what mods?

a torque converter is the clutch of an auto.... the stall speed is pretty much like dropping ur clutch from that certain rpm range! it does alot of oter stuff that im not aware of but basically its the clutch of the auto!

I have the samething you're getting from the same place your getting it

unless you didnt get the Billet TC because thats what I have

you're going to notice a difference but its not Godsend or anything you know?

+ I have no idea if its just the TC or everything else I got from them so I cant give you a definitive answer but thats what Ive experienced

I had the same question about the 2002 auto tranny. If this is the same and I could get don's vb mod for it, then i'd have no problem getting an auto, but does anyone know if dons vb mod would work on a 2002?
