01 SE Bottoming out with a moderate load

My '01 AE (SE), rear suspension bottoms out large bumps when I have a moderate load in the back (2 teen agers in the back seat or a Costco load in the trunk). I've read the TSB Nissan issued for that problem but it only applies to the GLE and the GXE.

Has anyone experienced this in their SE and will the replacement springs listed in the TSB work for the SE? I'd like to keep the stock ride height.

Also, the car has 100K miles with the original shocks. That's on my to-do list. I would assume new gas-pressure shocks would help the bottoming out a bit.

Thanks

Illuminas or GR-2?

It's a commute car (100 mile round trip) and I just want a more controlled ride.

Thanks

So for your very specific conditions and requirements as spec'ed above, your selected option is to buy off me my stock shocks for very nice promotional rate to be discussed in the near future!!!
