Need good pics of OEM HIDs beam pattern
A few weeks ago I was in a car wreck (I wasn't injured but my car was). Since insurance companies usually use aftermarket parts if available to keep costs down, the body shop replaced my HIDs with aftermarket HIDs. The beam pattern is disgusting. It makes me want to throw up. If anyone can post pics of the beam pattern of OEM HIDs, preferably some wall shots and ground shots, or if you can link me to some I would appreciate it very much. I already complained to my insurance company but want some evidence to show the inferior quality of the aftermarket parts. Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm in a time crunch and didn’t find pics searching.
Thanks.
Thanks.

You went to a Nissan body shop or a aftermarket body shop? My local dealership uses all OEM parts for replacement. If the lights are misaligned, the body shop should be able to fix it to your liking at no charge.

It was repaired at a reputable body shop, not at the dealership. I can aim the lights myself, but can't fix the beam pattern. I need pictures to prove that the aftermarket lights are inferior to OEM HIDs.

Its not the shop that decides what you get,its the insurance and the policy you got.

Thanks lowincash. From those pics I can already tell a major difference in the beam pattern and cutoff.
Does anyone else have other pics as well?
I'm not really sure what kind of HIDs they are. They have Phillps ballasts but the casing just says Depot instead of Nissan.

you probablly have those depot oem style ones that they sell on ebay...i got those right now but i have tsx projectors retrofited to them so the cutoff is awsome also i am using philips ballasts too. they're good stuff just the reflector on them aren't really well designed i guess.
