Berk intake

I've been looking for the past few weeks and I can't seem to find one, I have looked on ebay and on the group deals section with no luck. Are the discontinued? Would a injen CAI intake be a better option? I don't want to lose alot of lowend power.

Just do a search for intake and you should see a bunch. Google works too.

Berk intake is the best IMO. I have one with the dry AEM filter. (Like this over the filters that require oil since you don't have to worry about oil getting on the MAF)

Here is their site, but looks like its "under construction"

Berk midpipe is too small. I tossed a filter on the end of my MAF and gained over the JWT/Berk hybrid.

It's gone. I just have the normal/typical rinkydink filter on the VC.

I'm mostly looking for a nice sound with the best performance. Berk seemed to be the popular intake for the 5th gens. I was also considering a injen.

I recently had the setup NMex runs, in all honesty I noticed no differences in both sound output (not saying this signifies a power increase) or power over what the completely stock intake setup provided. The Berk setup I am happy with, the growl it creates on harder acceleration sounds very nice to me and it's a proven setup to increase power legitimately.

My airbox is not modified.

Look at the size of the MAF housing.

Oh yes, I am aware of that aspect, but the intake is still not completely "stock" with the silencer section removed (due to oversized MAF housing) and the intake snorkel is also removed is what I was referring to.

Minus the MAF housing yes, I don't think this thread was ever intended to be about a MAF housing though...

I recently did a similar set up to NmexMAX' set up...Deleted resonator, deleted snorkel, KN panelfilter, and breather tube where hose was attached. I'm happy with it. I can hear a difference in sound. I can't say anything about power since I haven't been to a dyno, but if NmexMAX uses this set up at 242 WHP it can't be bad. Besides, I only payed $20 in parts plus the panel filter to do my own set up.
