which color is better i can't really make up my mind

Im not sure safety and legality matter inside the doors...white is my choice as well since it's what i HAD.

i actually got white map lights and blue door lights on my max
got all the LEDs (map, dome, doors, and license plate) for $17

Yeah iv been pulled over in a friends car when we had a blue light on in it...you cant have any red or blue lights illuminating the interior(Maine).

those lights dont "illuminate the interior". they are only on when the door is open...meaning you are stopped

So any red or blue gauges will be Illegal in MA? Kinda sucks for a lot of car mfgs. Red is illegal to have on the front of your car. Blue is illegal for anything on the car's exterior. Driving with a dome/map light on is illegal, and if it was red or blue, it gives them more reason to pull you over. For them being a certain color, it should be fine for the interior, and you're not going to be driving around with your door open, so I wouldn't worry.

On topic, what are you looking for? JUST looks? White will wash out other colors, blue will give a nice cool glow when you open your doors, but if you dropped something at night, good luck finding it with blue.
