ABS sensor

Remove wheel, remove rotor, only item with an electrical connector back there. Try and find someone with an OBDII type reader that has the capability to read ABS codes. That will tell you which sensor it is.

Even if it is the sensor, its not expensive to replace. I had someone replace the right front spindle and the sensor broke off. Badly rusted. I found a place online and bought it for $80. You never know juts how much you use your traction controll and your ABS until your without it.
I dont think you even need to remove the rotor to see it.

No, The first time I replaced both fronts because they were rubbing on the control arm after I dropped the car on D2's and they were cut.
The second time was the front passangers because while the car was in the dealership, one of the techs was a and pulled the wire right out of the sensor.
Both times were of no fault to the wires.
