From: Auburn WA,
My car does that with my compustar alarm. It's a feature for the remote start. The car wont turn off untill I let off the brake, leave car in nuetral, set the parking brake, get out and close the door and alarm sets itself and locks doors. I guess it would work as a turbo timer as well

from all the comments, it appears he has a turbo timer with no turbo, which in fact would be rice... and so my comment stands. if more info comes to light then more comments will be added.

a video with a turbo would be more impressive that a timer. compared to the turbo, the timer is cheap and easy to install.

To get my ears used to hearing my turbo spool up in a few years... I also installed one of those fans you put in your exhaust that sounds like a turbo.

Just more ground work.

after driving the turbo's get hot, a turbo timer runs the car at idle for an extra bit to let oil circulate through the turbo and cool it down slowly

I love how everyone is calling me out.

I just wanted to share that it wasn't that difficult to wire up a turbo timer.

Call me rice all you want, as long as you can top me.

My RMT should be in by next week.

Isn't somewhat beneficial for N/A applications anyways? Allowing the engines components to cool down before shut down?

Anyways, who are you guys to say what order he does things? He is going turbo soon.

Good luck with the install Grant. Do you think I should get one for my e-ram electric supercharger?
