I am looking for a headlamp bulb that will provide a bit more light. I have found the following available:

PIAA Super Plasmas 55/60
PIAA Platinum Super White 55/60
PIAA Platinum Super White 80/80
Solaris 55/60

What are the differences? Do any of these lamps require a new harness?

Presumably the 80w should require a new harness.

I have the Platinum Super White 55/60s and they seem just fine. I used to wonder if they were bright enough, but on Tuesday I was following my wife home and when we arrived she complained that I had the brights on the whole time (although it was only the low beams).

SP: Look at one of the headlight posts (purplish light)
SW: Whiter light than stock.
SW 80/80: Very bright... should change harness.
S: No clue.
