Can I go from my 225/50/17 to 215/65/15 on 15X6 rims 5X4.5 35-40 mm offset. Will there be any problem with rotor clearence. the diam. off stock is 25.9 and the winters is 26.00. I live up in Edmonton with a Iceland pearl 2001 se ann. and want to be able to drive through the winter with no hassles.

whatever stock gxe comes with

see if any GXE owners want to sell you their stock rims and caps when they upgrade. Then get some blizzaks or something to put on em. btw You're going to hate the way it drives with the 15" snows (compared to the 17"s).

also maybe check for same at the nissan dealer. i don't know what they do with the stocks when a gxe buyer gets the wheel upgrade as a dealer installed option. they may be willing to get rid of them cheap in order to make a happy customer.

Does anyone know for sure if a 15" rim will fit over a 2002 Max SE calipers? Has anyone done this? I have search and search and cannot seem to find the answer to this question.

Most will not. I think Kosei K1's can though, depending on the size...
