Hidden button in AC controler? Light bulbs fixed

I found a hidden buttom named "AMB" when I was replacing the blown bulbs in the AC Controler.

What does "AMB" stand for? Automatic Blower?

BTW, the part# for the bulbs is 27545-1W600. they can only be found at dealership.

BTW, if anyone wants to replace the bulbs, this is what they look like.

yes, it stands for ambient temperature. in 5.5gens it isnt wired up because the temp shows in the cluster. you can wire it to show on the a/c control like a 2000-2001, but why?

When I saw it "amb" my first thought was ambient temperature. Meaning the car will be warmed or cooled to the prevailing cabin temperature.

Thank you guys...
I had put new bulbs into the AC, and I fixed BOSE HU for the second time by putting 3 layers of Scotch tapes at the back of the cable where cable went into the cable plug.
Everything is perfect now...

that was very easy...
unscrew the screw under the ashtray.
put your gearbox into 3rd.
pull out your center vent and gear panel by using a flat screw driver covered with some cloth.
unscrew four screws holding the HUs' shelf.
take the HU out, and disassemble the HU.
replace the bulbs and do the reverse order..

no, i didn't b/c I damaged 2 screws. but I made it in my own way by removing cable side covers. You really don't have to open the whole thing up.
