Bose HU + Cold Temp = Skipping

Wondering if anyone else experiences this problem.
Everytime in the morning before the cd player has played for longer than 10 mins it skips consistantly about every 5-10 secs. The cd is flawless, plays fine everywhere else and plays fine once the player...has warmed up sorta speak. I even try to fast foward to get through the technical difficulty but no luck.

its in the FAQ.... it skips when cold because of the AC vents blowing cold air near it... and over all... it doesnt like cold temps...

just pop out it... turn off the AC or something... and warm it up..

one of the BOSE's many flaws.

Mine used to do that. I’m replacing this little ***** soon enough. It gets semi cold here (10-15*F) overnight and the radio/CD nada works until about 25 minutes of driving with the heater on high.

Mine does it sometimes and it has the left speaker cut out....Looks like I'll have to rig up a portable CD/mp3 player with a tape adapter on this car as well.

the tape adaptor to MP3 is probably the easiest thing to hook up....
looks like I'll have to find something on the radio in the cold mornings...

I've done that twice. the second time I did that, I made it though with two screws damaged, so I just opened the cable side metal using my brain.
