I am PI$$ED!!! Freagin Dishonest people on the FS forum

I mean I hate the fact we got dishonest people here on the board espically in the For Sale/Trade Forum.

I mean I bought these Blue Neon Pedals, the indiglo ones from this dude "NGTHING" and paid him prompty via Paypal on the 8th of October. And told me he would ship it the next day, well i get an email from him AFTER i emailed him 3times a week later saying "I have not mailed it out yet cause I cant find a hex wrench to get the pedals off" Well why the hell sell the item if you aint got it off or have the ability to get it off?

Now he been ignoring ever since...... It is now the 25th and And no response from him nor has the pedals arrived. I know he getting my emails cause I see him posting on the board everyday and on top of that i email his A$$ from the board and to an email address I got off another post that he was selling some Superwhite bulbs. Still no response........

I swear I wish I could get one of the Moderators to cut his A$$ off the board or something......... This is nonsense...... I am ****ed!

And I take it that you guys (moderators) cant do anything to help? Such as blocking him from the board or some "necessary" action to keep him from corrupting the board?

Nope, sorry. Members go by the honor system and the .org cannot be held responsible if any transactions go bad.

I agree...

but you should appeal to Jambo.. there have been a few complaints on here. I dont know what he will or wont do, but at the least, let him know yet another person has had problems. I mean, if it's fraud/theft, he should know.

I'll see if Jambo can maybe lock him out for doing this more than once.

BigDogJonx,

Sorry to hear about your transaction. That sucks when that type of stuff happens. Make sure you post a message on the FS board with his name in the title so that other people know about him. Definately go to paypal and see what they can do. Good Luck.

man!!

Thats a damn shame!! People like that make me sick, they take advantage of honest people and ruin a good thing . Id definitly put up several posts about this problem in all forums; 1st gen, 2nd, 3rd,4th and all the for sale and general discussion forums. Also if possible make sure he dosent try to change his name/profile.

I would post it in every forum, except I gotta feeling the moderators will not like that.

Plus, how can you change your name? I thought that is permanent?

Is there a way we can start a permanent thread or something sharing our experiences good/bad that we've had with other sellers/vendors? Or maybe something like a rating system that they use on E-bay? I think something like this would keep the dishonest business transactions down to a minimum. Just my .02

Start one in off topic ... or better yet in the For Sale / Trade board WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE IT BEFORE THEY BUY and we can petition the almighty moderators to make it a sticky thread.

I put one in the For Sale/Trade forum. We got that thread going over there also.

Guess I can also post in off-topic.

Why the **** are Maxima owners taking advantage of other Maxima owners? That **** ****es me off. I respect all the Maximas I see on the road and always let them get infront of me if they signal. If I race a person with a Nissan and lose I don't care cause I respect their car. If I lose to a Honda then I wouldn't be so happy afterwards. Anways back to the topic. I think that member should be banned ASAP.

i feel you man. i got reemed online too. but appeal to paypal. what they will do is send him an email essentially demanding a tracking number for the supposed shipment. he'll have 3 days to do this then it's over. he won't be able to produce one so you should get your money back and paypal will do something to his account(i don't know what)
i hope he was a verified paypal member cuz they have some exceptions to their buyer protection program.

good luck

NGTHING Lastest email

Here is what he sent me today..........

I emailed you on 10/16, which was your last email to me. I'm trying to find a hex key to get the pedals off of the car, Street Glow uses an odd sized hex key to secure the pedals, not a standard or philips screw driver.

No need to be a jerk about it.

Jon

Yeap so I can confirm the dude STILL got them on his car, and still making a excuse of cant find a hex key. Which it too difficult if you go to a corner gas station to get off.

Lastly "How you get them on your car without this hex key?"

exactly

thats what i am sayin BigDogJonx, even if he got it on by borrowin some tools, theres still a way to go borrow those tools again and take those fu<kin pedals off, im pretty sure they have those wrenches at any auto part store, they ain't no specialty item. and he still has the nerve to make it seem like you are rushing him, when he still has your money, and the pedals on the car. if it was me i would go over there and use a crowbar and pry the damn pedals off, he can keep the money. too many excuses, its not cool to try and rip off all these people on the forum, you can bet if i got ripped off by you, i would make sure i got my money back, either that or you would see a big hole in your window and a nice pair of pedals on my car in the morning.

Better yet, go to freakin home depot, sears, lowes, get a full hex key set and pull it off. How can the size be odd? I am sure the company (Street Glow) set up just a special size to make sure nobody can get them on/off without their stuff.

No more excuses get responsible and send him his parts! Should have made sure you could take them off/send them before posting.

Dixit: I would definately hit up PayPal. That would be much harder to "change names".

No problem here, I got my back on this one, I know a fellow max.org member that lives "very close" to him. Already notified Paypal. And JAMBO is giving him 30days to fix this mess or else.

I got my ground covered, he aint gonna get out of this one easily.

Im sorry if using your name caused any confuion...I just remembered when you did change your name. I just wanted to use this as an example to show bigdogjonx that it is possible to change names if you wanted...Just for the record, NujerseyDrive has NEVER ripped anyone off or conducted any bad buisness!!! I think the reason I remembered your name change is because you were chilltownryderz and im chillwillthethrill.........

why dont we start a new forum on the .org where all dishonest people's names are posted, and all their contact info. This is a big issue here...

Perhaps you could have a rating system like e-bay-positive/neutral/complaint comments within the forum to allow customers to share their buying/trading experiences with respective sellers.

you can definately get your money back. Just file a buyer complaint with Paypal and they will investigate it.

The best way to find out if someone is honest is to ask around, word of mouth advice is the most trustworthy.
