Eyelids
Eyelids
I finally got my umnitza angel eyes installed yesterday. It went well but I may have used a bit too much glue on top. (I didn't want the things to fall off).
So I'm going to get some eye lids. I was wondering how tall they are and how much of the headlight from the top they would cover. Also are there any advantages/disadvantages between the stick on ones or the carbon fiber ones?
Any good recommendations for places to get them online? I'd like for them to come in a similar color to my max so I don't have to get them painted. Thanks.

+1 for Fibre Customs, I got a set of the MX-V2 for the 02-03 Maxima. Great product, and I will be ordering another set... as I screwed mine up. Kept removing them, and applying back with same adhesive.
I had the ones from autoanything... or whatever, and they were the soft (not fiberglass) eyelids, but I wasn't a fan of them.

i had that color matched by a body shop while he was painting the front lip, grille, and rear bumper. the grill and eye lids were no charge though since the paint was already mixed
www.paradox-systems.com has them.
I believe The Law was helping his friend out when he posted up the GD. So I'm not sure if he has an account here.
Right now he's selling em at full price which is on Ebay. That's the link you posted
I think he might still be using my car for the reference car on those "thin" eyelids.
Here's the link...

will msg him.
thanks!
Sowwies, but go ahead and ask maybe he'll cut you a deal.
Come to think of it! You could've asked for mine LOL
It was in my FS section I had the driver side covered in CF so that I could repaint after it cracked in the accident.
But TheLaw's friend sent me another set so I didn't need to re-do em.
I've had that set for sale for awhile but they were just purchased yesterday. For $13 shipped.

lets stop jacking homeboys thread before he gets his panties in a bunch.
thanks Jess!
But definately contact him...To stay on topic. The thin ones look best and they will cover up the very top of the headlights where you placed the glue. BTW they don't affect light output at all!
thanks Law!
Any opinions on whether the thick eyelids affect light output?
I guess it depends on whether the light reflected from the top of the reflector creates the closest portion of the beam pattern or the furthest (on the road). I wouldn't mind losing some light directly in front of the car (because the fog lights take care of that area) but I don't want the beam to lose it's distance.
