She over HEATED!

Okay here the story:
8:00pm sitting in my girlfriends drive way, was dropping her off from going out to dinner and we was saying our good night blah blah blah and heard the antifreeze bubbleing...look down and the hand was on hot. Turn the car off to let it cool off and then ran her home. She never over heated again untill we let it sit in the driveway to look at it. Heres the deal....The fans are not cutting on! I dont see a fuse for the fan?? Maybe it was dark and couldnt see it but any ideas where to start with this problem?

If the fans are not coming on, check in this order:

1. Fuse
2. Relay
3. Fan motor

Try turning the a/c on to see if that fan turns on. If it does, replace that relay with the other fan relay to see if the cooling fan now turns on. If so, the relay is bad.

most likely your fans are bad. mine went out at about 65,000. Buy new fan and shroud assy. It's an easy fix. good luck.

Check the power wiring harness clips for the fan (closest to the fan). I went in for service at Nissan to get a TSB done years back and found they had unplugged them. Luckily it was still winter time when I noticed.

Last time I thought a cooling fan motor had died, it turned out to be a $6.91 relay...

Car has not been serviced in awhile. We turned the A/c on to see if the fans will come on and that didnt work. The fans will no cut on at all. We ordered new fans today to see if its the fans. We also checked the fuses and they are good. Guess the next step is to install the fans and see if thats going to work.
