These have to be the nicest stock replacement rotors that i have ever seen. They have absolutely no signs of rust inside where the cooling vanes are. got them from tire rack.

looks good, while they new. i have brembo powersloted, and they make uneven pads wear, i'll take some pics then i will replace them....

yes, i am. The cleanest rotors that i have ever put on my maxima. I've done brembo blanks several times and they suck (very rusty). I've done Diversified's Cryo rotors and they're great but they still had signs of rust in the vanes. Diverisfied uses brembo blanks as well.

Now Powerslot's got a thing going with Diversified Cryogenics and are producing some really nice frozen rotors.

I bedded them yesterday and when i got out of the car all four brakes were smoking. I got in the car today and these things stop on a dime.


I don't think that you know what you are talking about. Brembo and Powerslot are two different companies. The key feature isn't the slots, it's the freezing and that is done by DiverCryo. Also, it's not the rotors that make pads wear unevenly. It's the guide pins or the calipers.

By the way, the point that I was trying to make is that these rotors look great new and they'll continue to look great when they wear because they are so well made.

they look good.. are they zinc coated? if not, be prepared for rust after first rainfall

Alright, could have made it a little more clear but you are taking my words out of context. I said that power slot rotors are great. I also said that powerslot rotors look great. I did not say that Powerslot rotors are great because they look great. You said that!


I think that Powerslot rotors are great because:

1. They are cryo treated
2. Their mettalurgy is better than most oem competitors
3. Their rotors have more cooling vanes than many oemc's.
4. They are coated with a proprietary military spec plating (not zinc).

5. They brake great and stop on a dime and look good while doing it.

Lets not get into the fact that there are better looking brakes out there. I know that.

All that i was trying to say is that I have never purchased a rotor that was that white looking with no signs of rust inside where the cooling vanes are and I get flamed for it. Thanks soonerfan.

That's funny, it was pouring when I did the install. Socal finally got 5.5 inches of rain. They are not going to rust as the military spec coating will last 60% longer than your traditional zinc coating.
