01 RR ABS sensor help
Ok so i replaced the rear drivers side abs sensor today and while i was removing the old one, the plug that goes to the car came off the wires. I put the wires back into the plug one way and the other and the abs tc and slip light still didnt come off, i took it to my buddy at nissan and we couldnt reset the light either. Tomorrow i might switching wires around then going with the consult two route. So what i am wondering is can i hard wire the sensor wires to the wires from the car? Or does anyone have a pic of the plugs so that i know what color wire goes were. Thanks for the helps

Ok just wired it up with crimp connectors from radio shack. It was pretty easy. There are two wires from the car that are blue and red, there are also two wires from the sensor one is white the other one is kinda yellowish. I wired the red to the yellowish and the blue to the white and bam all my lights are off woohoo. Maybe we can put this in one of the stickies just incase someone else runs into the same problem. Thanks for the help pmohr
On my 2000 maxima abs light is on. Computer reads left rear sensor open circuit. So I thought it's easy fix, went to dealer, bought new sensor, installed it-but light is still on. I tried clearing it but it comes right back. It reads the same message-open circuit. Could wires be damaged somewhere? HAs anyone experienced anything like this??
guys, dont mean to be pain in the neck but can anyone help me out with this abs problem. I installed new drivers side rear abs sensor, computer still reads the same message-open circuit. I tried looking for a damaged wire-nothing, i checked fuses under the hood (drivers side fender), those 2 are fine, battery was disconnected for more than 2 hours and I already put about 300 miles on the car since I changed the sensor. I ran out of ideas
help please
help please
Annex:
I have a similiar issue (see: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=552335 ) I am thinking that there is a wire shorted somewhere or even a wire cluster (e.g. into a relay box under the hood).

Yes, I actually removed battery so I can access the relay box you are talking about. Coudnt find nothing wrong. I traced wire all the way from back wheel under the rear seats and then under the hood. Installed new sensor for nothing.
