fstb question

I have pretty much just started modding my car, and im trying to decide if it is worth it to go ahead and get an FSTB.......then get all the other goodies later, how noticable is the change that an FSTB makes to the cars handling capabilities?

The FSTB is a great suspension mod, especially for us GXE/GLE types. I got mine for $80 and it was well worth it. The RSB is also an effective mod, and will run you around $200 for the Stillen one. I personally would not recommend the Addco one, since a number of members have had problems with it, myself included.

Man if you so in doubt or tight on cash, just get the 4th gen FSTB off eBay for like $30 and ghetto-rig it on to your MAX. I did that, works fine. NOOOOOOOOO Problems.

Allright BigDog, what did you have to do to rig the 4th gen FSTB?

Just get the FSTB first and try to put it on, on the drivers side the stock air box bracket needs to be hack sawed a little bit. Nothing major and no one will notice.

That's what I did for my bar. And you are right, no one will notice, I have seen a few 5th gen's do this. Works fine.
