last minute confirmation

i am looking to order a classic front lip tomorrow from stillen, however, after browsing around i came across absdynamics front lip which is $50 cheaper than stillen's i saw the pic and it look exactly like stillen's classic, but i know there's another lip a little similar to the classic and i hope that's not the one absdynamics is selling... anyone with a abs front lip???

IIRC that was the maxtuning lip or whatever it was called.

Just buy the Stillen. That way you know it's good quality and not some knockoff....

Biggest difference is that one is polyurethane the other is plastic. For a front lip, i suggest the poly or you'll be cracking the ABS in short time.

ABS is not an easily cracked plastic. its specifically used in car parts because of its shock absorbing nature. dont get the more expensive lip because youre afraid of cracking, get it because you want to be sure its the absolute best

nice comeback, so is urthane the only reason why stillen's better?

Standalone, you're right. But by comparison? Yes it cracks easily. I have ABS plastic on a lot of things, sure they can withstand shock, but they still crack eventually.

Try having your ABS lip partially fall off while cruising, dragging half of it at the same time. Poly will just fold, ABS will crack - possibly split.

the polyurethane is indestructable under normal and harsh conditions...

My Stillen was demoralized into multiple pieces when I nailed a truck tire @ 75, so indestructible =

I believe fast2002 was referring to the suggestion of a cardboard lip.
