Blacked out the center only to realize it was in the way.Cut it out instead of making a notch in the grille.Late model accord horns are nice and loud.

This is the stuff used to finish out the grille after the middle was filled with bumper repair goo.Ill post some pictures when I find some more.

That looks sweet man, nice job.

Questions: How much would you charge to make one to sell?
Do you work at a body shop?

I think you should cut out the parts in between the grill...just not sure if it would have enough support after. Also, does the bumper have enough support to hold up after cutting the plastic in the middle?

Thanks fellas.Yea I work at a bodyshop.Took all of friday noon and most of monday morning to do just the bodywork. Not a mod I can make money on.

The top middle part of the grille is flimsy with the emblem support missing.Didnt want to risk it breaking taking out all the slats. The bumper didnt loose much stiffness.Theres a metal frame on the car that keeps it sturdy.Or so its seems.

Very nice. Looks really clean. I really like a mod that cleans up the look of a car better than just sticking something to it.

...you beat us too it......good work body man.....
I still dont understand this

...if the modified grille is oem...and is just missing one connection after the cut out...is the missing center connection to bumper just more visibile?
Disclaimer: I have not removed a 5.5 grille yet...to actually see this area in person.

Looks good. I want to black out my grill and remove the emblem too. Just haven't gotten into it to see what all I need to do.

That is hawt! None of the aftermarket grills do it for me, but damned if that isn't exactly what I like. Very nice work.
