my car vibrates really bad in high speed, why ?

after a nite of snowstorm and got stuck on the road a few times, i finally managed to get my car back home.

this morning i noticed my car vibrats and shakes really bad, when i accelerate over 40miles... when it is in slow speed, it is fine (does not virbrate/shake)

did i wrap the axel ? or maybe ruined the traction control ? anyone has the same experience ?

would appreciate any inputs, insights and how much would it cost to fix if u have similar problems.

Thanks, Hank

Is there any snow/ice stuck in your wheels? The extra weight will cause the balance to be thrown off and give you vibration.

Also, if you hit the curb or a pothole you may have dropped a wheel weight. Check for snow in the rims first though.

Usually it's because you have snow in the wheels and or the threads of your tire

snow stuck in wheel well, first time my max shook I thought to myself "OH GOD HERE WE GO AGAIN" but then kicked out all the crap from underneath the wheel and it was fine

a lot of snow/ice in the wheel well, i cleared out most of it, but was too dark to see properly tonight, will clear out more tomorrow. will how it goes after i clear them out (or run it thru car wash), if it still did not help, will take it to have it checked out.

thanks again !

you probably need air in your tires or you need to get yout tires mounted and balanced. That took care of the problem for me last week, i had the same problem
