White smoke and water in muffler

Changed the brake master cylinder and now the car (is not my Max) has white smoke coming from the tailpipe and water too. What could be the problem, car was fine?

Moisture/water from a tailpipe is normal-nothing to worry about.

Water is usually normal. Excesive white smoke can indicate burning coolant.

Same thing happened to me before, had an ses light on though cause i need evap canister replaced. Happened when it was raining real hard, car was parked for 2 days, and when i tried to start, it would blow out a lot of white smoke, car would start for a few seconds then die. i just kept at it until it was gone and car started normal, replaced the canister a few days later and no problems since. Don't know if that gives you an idea of what it might be.

Look to see if you have oil in your radiator. It could be a sign of a blown headgasket not to scare you but what your discribing is a symtom of blown head gasket. I dont think changing your master cylinder has anything to do with it.

You probably should have mentioned the fact it was over heating before anything else...

did you spray anythign into the vacuum hoses or intake while it was off?

do a compression check on the engine. if everything looks good, then drive it and see if the smoke goes away.

Sounds like your headgasket is seeping coolant into the cylinders. If thats the case and you keep driving it, it will eventually get worse and you could destroy your engine. The coolant will start mixing with the oil.

Anyway... if it is still smoking... smell the smoke.... if you want to throw up and it smells really sweet, it is anti freeze, if you don't want to throw up, back away and look at the smoke, if it is a tint of blue, then it is oil

Check your hose routing, I bet something was incorrectly hooked up when you changed the master cylinder.
