My Engine i sout and I got the car for sale.

I got a 2002 Nissan Maxima that the engine appereantly is gone. I have 150k miles on now looking to find ways to get rid of it. I owe about 7300 to the finance company so if anyone is interested in paying for it then the car is yours. I don't know exactly what is wrong with the engine. I turn it on and then it shuts off and steam comes out. My mechanic told me that to plainly get rid of it and get another one. If anyone is looking for a 5th generation, then you can fix it and the car is all yours. It's a 6spd black on grey maxima. I live in Los Angeles Ca (213) 864-0916. Im Victor.

Okay so let me get this straight, you own $7,300 on a car that is no longer running, correct? Do you honestly think someone is going to buy that and invest $2-3k in a new or used VQ35? If you part it out then that is the only way your going to make any money to be honest. This is probably the dumbest thing that i have seen all week, and ive seen some effed up stuff recently. Im sitting here thinking to myself how many braincells i just burned reading your post. Im not trying to be a jerk but honestly dude your best bet is to park it under a tree and yell TIMBER!!! as it is falling towards the car, then call the insurance company and tell them its totaled and pay off your loan. OMG i cant believe people are this dumb, GOD!!! ::end rant::

Part it out, or put forth the money, get a new engine, and then sell it. I really dont think you'd get $7300 for a car that doesnt move.

Get a used engine. Shoudn't be more than $1200-1500 installed. I payed $8000 for a running '02, no way would I pay only $700 less for one that isn't running.
