ES motor mounts for AT tranny
ES motor mounts for AT tranny
I want to change out the lower engine mounts and though there is a detailed thread on how to go about changing them, I need additional information on non-OEM mounts.
The ES mounts seems to work miracles with manual transmissions. Has anyone actually used manual motor mounts on a auto tranny? Are there any drawbacks etc.
Also, the electic engine front mount on a AT vehicle, how does it work. Can I disconnet the electric wiring and drive to actually feel any significant difference in ride?

The ES bushing will fit your AT "rear" mount only. You will need to swap your "front" mount to a MT if you want to use an ES there.
You can just zip tie the connector from the front out of the way. There will be no codes. The rear AT mount has no connection to it.

Front Motor mount
I had my front motor replaced (after market)and have this electronic noise coming from it that wont stop now. I drove the car for about 20 miles and it blew one of my fuses and the car died. I cannot get the motor mount to stop making that noise. Any ideas?
not hooked up correctly?
Any idea why the car died? You can run w/ the mount disconnected so find out the real reason why it died.
