Fuel filter and other parts

I'm having a hell of a time finding a fuel filter for my Maxima. I have an '03 and all the parts stores say it's not available or it's dealer only. Is this true? I'd also like to change the PCV valve if that's even available or if the Maxima even has one. Please help.

You do have a fuel filter. I did a write up and it should still be in the stickies. You'll have to order the filter and a new O-ring while your at it from Dave B. Also in the stickies.

By the way it's under your back seat. Pop it up and you'll see the fuel tank cover.

Also, p2kmax you have a fuel filter as well. Same place ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Also,

Fuel Filter Write up. My pics are dead and I'm not going to take the time to re-host. Good luck

It also has the part numbers so you can order them from the dealership. DON'T let the dealership tell you you don't need to do this. They are full of ****!

Well I have come to the conclusion that at 85k it can't hurt!! Anyone able to suggest how to do it, or better yet where is the best place to get the parts to go about this "project" and if anyone has any descriptive pictures with detailed instructions that would assist me during the process of installation I would greatly appreciate it!! I can't figure something out, is the part that needs to be changed called a filter, or strainer?? Oh and is this better/safer done as a do it ur'selfer or is there an expert shop that would do it right the first time if u know wut I mean, just to save the hassle?? Thanx a million Bro's...
