250K Miles

Finally hit a quarter million on my 02 Maxima at the end of last week. bought it the end of last June with 231000 miles. I have finally got it to where i do not need to put money in it any more. and it does not burn oil.

very nice!

I took my 96 maxima from 130K to 230K and then traded it in for my 01 AE

although i feel my 96 was built stronger compared to my 01, especially with espect to the sensors nightmare!

Nice.

I'm at over 191K on my '03. I hope I can get to 250K with no major issues.

Nice accomplishment! Makes me glad I "only" have 80K on my 03. Are you auto or manual?

Wow! Great Mileage...
I had an 1980 Toyota Supra Went to 296Km.
Then a 1985 Maxima sold it in 1997 with 206Km but car is still going.
Then a 1991 Maxima sold to Insurance Co. after crash, engine still running and it had over 300Km on it. I now have a 02 Maxima SE, bought it last year at 94Km and now have 106Km.

I only had 2k miles on my car for 6 months, that means I have to spend 45 years driving like what I'm doing now to reach your mileage..this is crazy...

Honda too. Put over 200,000 miles on both my Celicas, my Accord had 280.285 miles when I sold it and I saw it more than a year later, still running! Mazda engines are pretty decent too, 163,300 miles on my 626 when it got totaled (the rest of the car was crap though!), my brother got 215,000 out of his 626 GT (turbo)...engine, turbo and transmission. Original clutch made it to 170,000 miles. Used to be you hit 80k miles and pretty much the whole drivetrain was shot, amazing how durable most new cars are.

Did you see the cragislist post of the civic that had 960k miles and was for sale? I believe it was even original engine.

Edit: FOUND it.

PS my 2k2 has 112k miles.

I'm just approaching 80,000 on my '02. I've had the car for only three months, but I drive hard all the time. Still no problems that didn't come with it from the sleazy dealership, but I absolutely love this car. I just put an Injen CAI in it and am planning to do more, but it seems I can't find some things I'd like. Supercharger? Is there one out there for this car? I can't seem to find one.

Another thing. Does the Unorthodox Racing pulley set really make much of a difference?
