Aight not like I know anything about this, but Is that a drier duct hose? Looks very much like it.

Also where is that hose going to? It is going into that fender wall but then from there where? No pics of the outlet?

What was originally there?

Sorry if I sound like a freagin newbie, but i sort of am on this SC stuff.

It's an intake hose from PepBoys, but I'm sure you can use dryer hose (if it's strong enough).

The hose goes through the hole in picture #2. From there, the MAF and filter cap it off. No pics of what's between, but I'll get some when I clean the filter.

What was originally there? Another piping that goes across the engine bay (ends near the battery) with the MAF and filter to cap that off. Here's a pic of the orignal setup: http://images.cardomain.com/installs...1_106_full.jpg

Very nice Kev. Do you notice any improvements? And where does the hose go to, just into the fender well?

Thanks!

Yup, I regained 1 more pound of boost. The hose goes through the hole with the MAF and filter at the end.

You still have to do the intake piping with the IC setup. Are you going to leave the stock piping on? Good luck fitting something hard through there.

I don't think it's the cooler air... probably the shorter (and wider) piping.

Yup, I could've done a lot better on the piping choice, but I was not willing to cut the piece that holds the bumper up (and a hard solid tube wasn't guaranteed to fit).

Nice to know you think it's that simple to route the piping... just like other people think it's simple to "slap" a supercharger/turbocharger/tranny on their car.

It's one more psi and much cooler air... I'll take that over looks any day.

I never said it was real simple especially not simple for a diy guy,but for a pro it shouln't be to hard espcially for a pro proformance shop that does this kind of thing everyday. And slaping the supercharger(blower) on is realitivly easy it's the rest of the peices that are a pain in the ***. But this wasn't ment to flame you don't take it personal it was ment to encorage you to keep doing better, esspecally since you know you can do better. But hey one psi is nice.

Also who do i complain to about the server. It dosn't seem to be an improvment over the way it used to be. Before I had to wait awhile for the site to load. Now I have to sit ahwile to wait till I can even get on at all. Just wait a min it will clear up that sucks when you try to post stuff and it does it in the middle of posting. Anyway im dun venting.
